Laura and Sejal have been best friends since school, performing together from the age of 15. Their love of musical theatre initially brought them together, but it was their shared natural flair for soul music that first enabled them to perform alongside each other. Always found practicing in the music department, they spent their school years gigging with various bands around Leicestershire.
Unbeknownst to them, 60 miles away, Lisa-Marie was experiencing a similar introduction to the industry. Singing and dancing around the house to MGM movie musicals was never enough for her; she wanted to be one of the beautiful and talented ladies she admired so much on the silver screen. She began performing in youth arts and theatre clubs, putting all of her time into perfecting her music, cabaret and performance skills. Much the same as Laura and Sejal she ventured out to find more.
10 years later, Laura signed her first contract for a ship where she met fellow Midlander Lisa-Marie, and for the following 8 months they travelled the world together, performing and becoming firm friends.
Meanwhile, back in the UK, Sejal was co-creating a vocal group for the London corporate scene, utilising her passion and talent for vocal arranging.
At the end of 2013, reunited on a holiday in Abu Dhabi, Sejal and Laura decided to collaborate in a business venture which would allow them to combine their passions: creating unique vocal arrangements, working with inspiring and talented friends and travelling the world.
In need of that all important third member, Laura knew just the girl.
Here come The Girls....
